Evaporator

Evaporator

The evaporator is a component in the AC system responsible for converting refrigerant from a liquid phase to a vapor or gas phase.

Function: The evaporator works by cooling the air inside the car cabin. Air passing through the evaporator releases its heat to the refrigerant, which then evaporates and absorbs this heat, resulting in cooler air inside the cabin.
